Glitter Magick

The morning light stings, but we must open our eyes. We’ve kept them shut for so long that the reality now burns—but it’s a cleansing fire. This pain is the spark of transformation, pulling us into the now. Instead of hiding from the light, we will let it reveal the depth of the darkness it pierces. We will detach ourselves from the suffocating self-pity that creeps in, heavy as fog, threatening to overwhelm us. We will face the light with courage, knowing that the solution is taking shape, even if it remains just out of focus. To see the truth, we must first let the light in.

Opening Our Eyes

The light dismantles the dream state like a hammer shattering glass. “It’s called shattering illusions because it hurts.” It’s a sharp, necessary pain. At first, it’s uncomfortable—filled with anger and self-pity—but this destruction clears the way for something real to take its place. The world we’ve known will crumble, piece by piece, as we confront reality directly and dare to rebuild it. The road ahead is hard, but the traveler grows stronger with every step. The only way out is through.

Crossing this threshold takes grit, something deep within that pushes past the discomfort. The light shows us truths we’d rather not see, truths that provoke fear and cloak themselves in shame. Our instant-gratification lifestyle is a spider’s web, sticky and relentless, pulling us down as we thrash against it. But we will not struggle—we will wait, still and quiet, as the devastation settles around us. Slowly, shame gives way to shock. Being decent, well-meaning people, we’re horrified at the enormity of the impact we’ve allowed. While we were lulled to sleep, corporate titans conquered the globe. We were the batteries they drained to do it, unwittingly fueling their machine.

Adjusting to the Light

As we push through the veil, the stage curtains part, revealing the strings of the puppeteers. The wires gleam with greed and manipulation. The full horror of reality hits us, and our shame twists between disbelief and anger, finally landing on a determined resolve.

Putting an entire population to sleep isn’t hard—it’s the same old carrot-and-stick trick. We think we’re chasing the carrot: money, fame, approval, success. A golden path, shimmering with promises of treasure just ahead. But in truth, we’re running from the stick: poverty, rejection, incarceration. It’s a clever trap, spinning us in endless cycles of profit, all for someone else’s benefit.

When we see this manipulation clearly, anger will rise. It will boil in our chests, searing us from the inside out. But this fire holds a choice: let it consume itself and fade into apathy, or channel its energy into conscious power. We can wake up, or we can drift back to sleep.

Rising from the Bed

We are not powerless. As cogs in their machine, we can simply stop turning. Disconnect from the system, and the energy they siphon from us returns to us. This reclaimed power is the seed of a new future—one where we decide the direction of our lives. This is not just rebellion; it’s rebirth. A death of the old self and the awakening of a fearless, vibrant new consciousness.

Stretching Our Limbs

The truth has been hidden from us for centuries. Our magick—our innate creative power—has been hoarded, suppressed, and exploited by those who see themselves as the “worthy few.” But we are not pawns; we are magnificent beings, creators of worlds. The awakening has already begun, unstoppable as the tide.

And here’s the beauty of it: we don’t have to force it. We don’t need to rush into action. All we need to do is open our eyes and let the light in. The day will come soon enough, with all its tasks and challenges. For now, we need only awaken and see clearly.

Walking Into the Day

Once awake, we’ll marvel at the strength we’ve always had. The insights that follow will illuminate a path forward, sparking creations that once seemed impossible. In this light, we’ll find what’s been missing all along: the recognition that we are magick. We are the architects of our own reality, capable of shaping our world to reflect even our most audacious dreams.

Living in the light does not promise endless wealth or power—it’s not a fairy tale. It’s more like an alarm clock, waking us to the truth of where we are and the possibilities ahead. Once awake, we’ll move through the world with clarity, purpose, and joy, amazed at the power that was always within us.
